Romancing The Stone
By Tonie Silver

The first time ever I laid eyes on NZROX’s Touchstone necklaces, I
was entranced.  I’m very particular about what jewelry I put on my
person~ it has to be meaningful and vibrational.  Touchstones are
both.

Touchstones start as basalt, igneous rock formed by New Zealand’s
dramatic volcanic history.  The basalt pebbles come down rivers
from the Southern Alps, where they are then tumbled for millions of
years in the mighty Pacific~ how cool is that?!  The pebbles are then
hand gathered from New Zealand’s Birdlings Flat beach.  The
designs are then crafted~ mostly by hand~ using a combination of
ancient and modern technologies by native New Zealand peoples,
including the Maori. Many of the designs are of native origin, and
have meaning, i.e.: growth, water, good luck.  Each piece is unique.
Dig this: the accompanying literature says Touchstones are not
mass produced in China!

Smaller and more delicate than I expected, these little gems are
truly beautiful.  I have not taken mine off since I got it~ it’s so comfy
and cool to wear.  These would make an awesome, impressive,
unique, and memorable gift.  I literally have Family members in
line asking for mine!!!:)

A portion of the profits from the sale of Touchstones goes towards a
conservation program with the Wairewa Runanga~ read more about
this on the NZROX site.

Ask your local retailer (new age store, surf shop) to order the
Touchstones for you.  You’ll be so glad you did.
