What a find! Totally expedient
service, and Laurel here is a doll
to deal with~ very nice and
helpful. The packaging is pretty,
and the oils are excellent.
Rhododendren~ such a unique
oil. Surprisingly multifaceted for
such a quiet oil. Starts out
sweet and delicate, then warms
up to a spice. I got notes of fir,
liquidambar, and 7UP. An
essential oil worthy of
experiencing.
The Ruh Khus is vetiver with an
underlying animalic layer,
smoky, tenacious, warm, dark,
and cumin-y. A nice base to
blend with.
The Petigrain is light, clear, and
sharp~ a must have, methinks.
Pour it on top of patchouli, I say.
Floracopeia makes a nice Dark
Patchouli, mixes with anything.
I was so impressed with the
quality of Floracopeia’a oils that
I immediately placed an order.
The organic Tulsi is stunning,
peppery and sweet. The
Geranium Rose Sur Fleur is
sweet, rosy, tangy, and raindrop-
y. The Lemon Eucalyptus is
joyous sunshine in a bottle.
They stock an array of
eucalypti~ rose, peppermint,
radiata, etc., all of which are
worthy of sniffing.
Floracopeia sent me some
Frankincense Resin and
Japanese charcoal on which to
burn it. This resin is lighter and
more herbaceous than my last
frankincense resin. It’s really
nice.
Floracopeia founder David Crow
co-founded The Learning
Garden in Los Angeles, a garden
at an inner city high school. I
watched the dvd about it, and
the transformation the kids go
through is wonderful~ they gain
a real understanding and
appreciation of Gaia.
David also wrote an interesting
book, In Search Of The
Medicine Buddha; exploring
such fascinating topics as
Eastern healing and alchemy,
the transformation of mercury
into gold. I’m enjoying his
journey.
I’m raving to all of my friends
about Floracopeia~ go see what
all the buzz is about!
